Damage Assessment & Repair Quote
Not sure if your frame is worth fixing? Send photos or ship it in for a straight answer on repairability and cost before committing to anything.
A lot of frames get thrown away that didn't need to be, and a few frames get shipped to us that really are done. The only way to know which category yours is in is a proper inspection — so that's where every repair starts, whether it's a five-minute look at photos you email us or a hands-on inspection once the frame arrives.
For visible damage — cracks, crushed tubes, gouges — photos from a few angles with good light are usually enough for an initial read on repairability and a ballpark cost. For damage you can't fully see or aren't sure about — a frame that came off worse in a crash, unusual creaking, a frame that's been sitting with a hairline crack for years — we recommend shipping it in. We'll inspect the laminate directly, including tapping and flexing tests in areas where damage often hides, like the underside of the down tube and around the bottom bracket shell.
You'll get a clear answer: repairable or not, what the repair involves, roughly what it will cost, and how long it will take. There's no obligation to proceed, and if a frame genuinely isn't a good candidate for repair, we'll tell you rather than take the work.
